Our notion is that congruence is the key to success. Notion Design + Build emerged when four friends joined our distinct real estate skills to build enduring and quality homes. Collectively, we’ve built more than 75 houses in Austin.
our process
We leverage the multidisciplinary expertise of our in-house architect, builder, and real estate agent to build aesthetically pleasing and functional homes.
First, we carefully identify and assess each lot according to its unique characteristics, taking into consideration factors such as location, size, topography, sun exposure, and surrounding neighborhood aesthetics.
Once the plans and design are complete, we collaborate with trusted trade partners. Our team works with exceptional craftsmanship to create homes on time and on budget.

An Austin native, and a third- generation builder with two decades of experience, Casey is our Maker. He has built over 50 homes in the urban core. Casey’s hands-on building knowledge, experience navigating the city of Austin’s regulations, and extensive relationships with local vendors and trade partners amounts to not only an exceptionally well-built home, but a space to thrive.
THE MAKER // Casey Fowler
With an eye for detail and background in home design and architecture, Rob is our Creator. He draws inspiration from each site, and meticulously designs the proper home for its context. Rob has designed and built homes in Austin, Arizona and Colorado. He understands the synergies between aesthetics and function.
THE CREATOR // Rob Lindholm
Not just an entrepreneur or realtor, Tim is our Facilitator. For several years, he has been investing in and developing homes in Austin. Through his extensive network, Tim identifies and secures the right sites for us to apply our vision and passion. His input in the design process ensures we’re building homes that meet market demand today and into the future. Tim is also an integral part of raising capital and managing relationships with our investors.
THE FACILITATOR // Tim Landy
An innate connector and visionary, Justin is our Curator, pulling the pieces together and connecting the dots. He has been actively involved in the local real estate community for over 20 years. Justin draws on his passion for design, and combines it with his background in finance and real-estate. He plays a role in every aspect of our process, including raising capital, site selection, and design.
